The combination of the means of transport vessel and train and the coordinated timetables enable a smooth transport and thus contribute to a sustainable greener environment.
With our transport solutions in combined transport, emissions of up to 70% per unit load and distance can be avoided. So with our intermodal network, we have been able to save around 27,000 tonnes of CO2 and other greenhouse gases every year.
To calculate the emissions we use, we use EcoTransIT World, an independent, globally recognized tool that is continually updated. We always receive comparable data and can provide information about the amount of greenhouse gas emissions reduction achieved at any time.
