Austria Shuttle (Wels)

We offer regular piggypack connections between Lübeck and Wels. Together with our partners in respective terminals we load block trains with trailers (up to P403), containers and swapbodies. We are also able to provide professional trucking partners upon request.

The AUSTRIA SHUTTLE is a direct response to the high demand for capacity and reliable intermodal transport between Scandinavia and Austria. In addition to our VERONA SHUTTLE and MILANO SHUTTLE to northern Italy, the new AUSTRIA SHUTTLE opens up completely new areas such as northern Austria and southern eastern Bavaria. Cities such as Steyr, Linz, Passau and Burghausen are also served by the new connection.

In addition, the AUSTRIA SHUTTLE from Lübeck offers perfect connections to the entire Scandinavian region as well as Finland and the Baltic States, as the connection times have been optimally adjusted to the ferry times. There are also numerous perfect connections in Wels, for example via Vienna to Budapest or further connections to Graz or Tyrol.

The connection between Lübeck and Wels has also continued to develop dynamically in recent months. With the connection to Budapest, another important hub in the European intermodal network has been successfully integrated – and growth continues: in addition to connections to Trieste (Italy), for example, our partners also offer connections to Greece and Turkey.

The AUSTRIA SHUTTLE can transport intermodal trailers, hazardous goods, all types of containers and non-craneable trailers.

The Austria Shuttle is ideal for markets and customers in southern Germany, Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, as well as Scandinavia, Greece and Turkey.
