ECL receives ISO 9001:2015 certification

We’ve done it. All of our processes and services have been examined in accordance with the new ISO standard 9001:2015 and thoroughly and successfully audited by DNV GL Business Assurance (DNV GL). With this successful certification, we have been able to demonstrate yet again that we consistently meet the quality requirements of our customers in a sustainable manner.

The first week in April was an exciting time for all our staff, with ISO re-certification on the agenda. The audits by DNV GL were then conducted at our locations in Lübeck and Rostock from 3 - 5 April.

And today, the time has finally come, with the postman delivering the official document confirming the successful re-certification of our Quality Management System in accordance with ISO standard 9001:2015.

What does this means for our customers and partners?

ECL GmbH reliably performs logistics services with all the related upstream and downstream processes audited by DNV GL! Our services and processes are constantly subjected to systematic quality controls. For our customers, perfect results mean that you can depend on us. The successful re-certification demonstrates our continuous quest for quality and our customer orientation. ISO 9001 is the most widespread and, therefore, the most important standard in the area of quality management across the globe.

And why do we do this?

We have set ourselves the task of constant improvement in everything we do and of focusing on quality and customer satisfaction in all of our services. Re-certification in accordance with the ISO standard 9001:2015 is an important cornerstone to this end! The certificate shows what an essential part the quality and performance level of our staff play in this regard. This means our customers can continue to be sure that they will receive precisely the logistics service they need and expect from us.

However, we know that we cannot rest on our laurels with this result, because we will have to put our efficiency to the test once again in just a year’s time.
