ECL has been officially recognised by DB-Netz intermodal rail operator since 4 June 2019. Managing Director Jörg Ullrich signed the Framework Infrastructure Usage Agreement with representatives of DB-Netz at this year’s “transport logistic” trade fair in Munich. This represents a milestone for the development of our intermodal transport services. The agreement is the basis for the direct ordering of new train paths and the use of all available DB-Netz service facilities needed by a rail operator to achieve an even faster flow of information bon production side as well as towards its customers. Construction site announcements, incidents or malfunctions in the case of bad weather and information about track closures reach us much for rapidly and improve the flow of information to our customers in the course of day-to-day business.
