Austria Shuttle

Austria here we come!

It's time to break new (old) ground. Because our new (old) AUSTRIA SHUTTLE is being revitalised. Our new north-south connection starts with the first departure from Wels CCT (Austria) to Lübeck Skandinavienkai (Germany) on 15 October.

Our AUSTRIA SHUTTLE trailer will transport goods punctually, safely and reliably between Lübeck and Wels four times a week in each direction within 30 hours.

The four departures per week are handled under the responsibility of European Cargo Logistics GmbH and our partner, Rail Cargo Group Austria. The number of departures may increase in the coming months.

The AUSTRIA SHUTTLE is a direct response to the high demand for capacity and reliable intermodal transport between Scandinavia and Austria. In addition to our VERONA SHUTTLE and the MILANO SHUTTLE to northern Italy, the new AUSTRIA SHUTTLE opens up completely new areas such as northern Austria and southern eastern Bavaria. Cities such as Steyr, Linz, Passau and Burghausen will also be opened up with the new connection.

The AUSTIRA SHUTTLE also offers perfect connections from Lübeck to the entire Scandinavian region as well as Finland and the Baltic States, as the connection times have been optimised to match the ferry times. There are also numerous perfect ongoing connections in Wels, for example via Vienna to Budapest or further connections to Graz or Tyrol.

The AUSTRIA SHUTTLE can be used to transport intermodal trailers, dangerous goods, all types of containers and non-craneable trailers.
