Huge number of visitors to transport logistic 2005 in Munich
The transport logistic exhibition was held for the 10th time in Munich between 30th May – 3rd June 2005. Around 40,000 visitors came to Munich, and expressed a great deal of interest and satisfaction with the exhibition. The transport logistic has become the number 1 in the transport & logistic field.
This year, ECL together with the Port of Luebeck operated a combined stand with other representatives of companies in the port area. Visitors were able to see for themselves the many advantages Luebeck has to offer and build contacts.
The City of Luebeck greeted their partners and clients through a podium discussion and emphasised the high quality of Luebeck as a logistic location and as the biggest Baltic port. Of major importance was a presentation of the high level of ship departures daily and the excellent back-country connections especially rail.
ECL is a major partner in the in the planning and implementation of the „Blocktrain“ project, whereby various loads from several clients are bundled together and transported by rail. The exhibition was an enormous success for ECL.
The next transport logistic will take place in 2 years time, from 22nd – 25th May 2007.
