SEMI-TRAILER with ECL-LOGO now in combined traffic
After ECL along with their partner KOIDI Transport mbH of Austria launched a further HGV with the ECL logo in may 2005, the number of vehicles and trailers with the ECL logo has increased to a total of four. On the 31.08.2005 ECL placed the first semi-trailer with the ECL logo on the transport train from Luebeck-Travemuende to Verona (Italy).
As a result of the constant increases in fuel and labour costs, transport via rail is becoming more and more attractive. ECL already loads mixed Block Trains from Lübeck-Travemünde and Luebeck-Nordlandkai to the central regions of Germany and Italy on a regular basis.
The amount of goods transported by combined traffic has increased enormously. By transporting goods via combined- traffic, ECL can provide their customers with a fast, reliable, environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative to the standard road haulage services which have been offered up to now.
