ECL becomes AEO-F - Approved
The Kiel Customs Authority approved ECL as an Authorized Economic Operator - AEO)". ECL had already joined SAFE (Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade) at an early. Owing to the high standards already established at ECL, the company has received approval without the need to change or adapt any of its internal operations and existing workflows.
The strict conditions for approval as an AEO, include, compliance with customs regulations, a satisfactory administration system for business and transport documentation and evidence of financial solvency. As a result of the safety and security standards set by ECL through ISO-Certification, the highest classification as an AEO was granted.
The aim of SAFE is to ensure stability of the entire International delivery chain from manufacturer to the end user. The intention and aspiration of SAFE is global recognition of these standards. The simplification of customs clearance achieves for ECL its quality standards and the optimization of the entire transport chain.
